Part 2: Redefining Mom Style – Thanks to Target and Wal-Mart

After I had posted about ‘Redefining Mom Style thanks to Target and Walmart’ I was so excited to see that by favorite dresses from Target had gone on sale again, only $15! Since I don’t have a full length mirror, I decided to do a mini fashion show while my kids were in school and I was trying to decide if I was going to buy multiples of the dresses I already own:-)

The dresses I’m wearing below are only $15 at Target right now and let me tell you….they wash and wear like a dream!!!!!

I am a black dress fan, or at least dark colors. If something gets spilled on them, you’re less likely to see a huge wet spot on a dark color vs light. I also love how you can make it any season by what you accessorize it with and it really makes colors POP!

The striped dress has horizontal lines as it’s detail and I love how the lines don’t make me seem big:-)

The solid black dress has lace type details on the straps and along the bottom. I would NOT wear this dress without leggings because it would be too risky for my taste. One can never have enough little black dresses 🙂

I also love how both Target and Walmart have started to be making dresses that have conservative fronts, wider shoulder straps(so you can wear a bra without worrying about your straps showing), and a back that is just low enough to make you feel a little risky, but high enough you can wear almost any bra you want:-)

This dress I wore to my daughter’s school celebration, them home to work in the yard and then for a walk around our neighborhood:

This dress is from Walmart and was only $15. It’s a dark print and I love the rugby type style:-)

I wear dresses almost everyday. Below is a picture of my laundry room<3.

Don’t fret about what to wear, wear what makes you feel good.

I choose to wear what feels good, fits my body well, and best of all is at a price that allows me to not worry about what we may encounter that day:-)

Remember….They Will Love Your Effort<3!!!

Hi! My name is Dominique and I’m lucky enough to be the wife to my True Love and mother to a little girl and a little boy. I grew up in the Midwest but have loved living in NC, our new home.

I’m actually an Industrial Engineer by schooling, but am now a domestic engineer(Stay-at-home-Mom) and feel very blessed to have this job.

I have always loved the challenge in making the most of things…whether it’s figuring out that a filing cabinet , a $10 piece of countertop and a few scraps of wood can be turned into a desk, that a curtain sheer, some ribbon, and a square piece of fabric can be transformed into an Elsa-like dress, or how to provide an interesting lunch for my little girl who is in a peanut free classroom. I love to figure things out and to create.

I hope you enjoy reading my posts. I hope that my posts will inspire you to create. I hope that with my posts you will see that They Will Love Your Effort, whether things turn our perfect or not;-)
