Rainy Day Fashion

I love rainy days. I’m a big Gun’s and Roses fan, so I always get the song ‘November Rain’ stuck in my head.

When I was a kid, I loved splashing in puddles, squishing the fresh mud, and playing worm rescuer:-). Come on…tell me you didn’t too!!

Today was a day for rain boots. FYI…you have to buy rain boots in the fall…for some reason it’s almost next to impossible to find rainboots in a store during ANY OTHER SEASON. I always thought rain boots would be in stores in the spring, you know ‘April SHOWERS bring May flowers’ but apparently not :-/. I was lucky enough to find some rain boots on extreme end of season clearance in february at DSW and I love my boots! They are Chookas and are a navy version of this:

I love to pair boots with leggings…no bunching to deal with;-). I also love to wear leggings with boots especially on wet days because NOTHING is worse than dealing with wet jean cuffs ALL DAY 🙁

Then, what to wear….

I chose my blue striped dress from Walmart<3. It's very similar to the one in this link(fit wise).

I paired it with a light sweater:-). Just warm enough to keep me snugly but airy enough to not melt in it.

To me, it's important to be able to pick up my son whenever I need to and not worry about if his shoes are muddy or wet:-). Thank you affordable fashion!!!!

Who doesn't like to feel fun on a rainy day?

When I picked my daughter up from school, I didn't hesitate walking into the wet grass to play with her.

Remember…They Will Love Your Effort<3

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and interesting, and without
a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that
not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy I found this during my hunt for something regarding this.

    • Thank you. There is no reason why you cannot look good when it rains:-)
