Frozen Inspired Party: Let’s Decorate!

How do you transform your living room into a Frozen movie theatre? With four shower curtains, 7 tiny command hooks, an a handful of safety pins!

My friend had a four snowflake shower curtains that he had found on major clearance, that she had used for her daughter’s Frozen party. She was extremely kind in letting me borrow them:-) I’ll do another post with all the wonderful things she did that helped to make my daughter’s party a huge success<3

Since I don’t have curtain rods in my living room, I thought of something pretty clever. I took small command hooks and put the above my window sills. I installed them with the hook facing the wall.

I took the shower curtains and put safety pins in the spots where it would hit the command hook. This would not damage the curtain and was a great option! I think it turned out amazing!!!!

So we used two dark blue shower curtains on the windows, I used one white snowflake curtain above our fireplace(pinned in half, then the same technique used to hang), and then one shower curtain over my kids play table with a white disposable tablecloth on top protecting it:-)

It was a huge hit! Super easy, and no damage!

Hi! My name is Dominique and I’m lucky enough to be the wife to my True Love and mother to a little girl and a little boy. I grew up in the Midwest but have loved living in NC, our new home.

I’m actually an Industrial Engineer by schooling, but am now a domestic engineer(Stay-at-home-Mom) and feel very blessed to have this job.

I have always loved the challenge in making the most of things…whether it’s figuring out that a filing cabinet , a $10 piece of countertop and a few scraps of wood can be turned into a desk, that a curtain sheer, some ribbon, and a square piece of fabric can be transformed into an Elsa-like dress, or how to provide an interesting lunch for my little girl who is in a peanut free classroom. I love to figure things out and to create.

I hope you enjoy reading my posts. I hope that my posts will inspire you to create. I hope that with my posts you will see that They Will Love Your Effort, whether things turn our perfect or not;-)
