FREE Summer Fun at the Movies

Are you enjoying your summer? It’s hard to believe that it’s almost half way done! We have spent the majority of our time at the pool. So much so that my 2 year old son now can swim.

But what do you do when it’s rainy outside? Today we went to our local movie theatre who hosts a summer movie program. They offer free admission to an older released movie and $4 popcorn and pop combos.

You might be surprised by the number of high end movie theaters that offer similar programs. In my area there are many theaters that offer $1 admission along and a few that offer free admission.

If you have a little one that has never been to the movies before, these types of offers are often a great way to see if your child can handle going to the movies without a major investment. From my experiences, the theatre is full of small children, so if your child all of a sudden decides to start asking questions about EVERY SINGLE THING, it’s ok. Odds are you’ll hear a number of children chirping words of excitement:-)

Word of caution: If you do attend a program like I’ve described above, arrive early. A lot of summer children camps attend the movies so the theaters can fill up fast!

It’s a fun treat to go to the movies and a joy to share it with your children.

Hi! My name is Dominique and I'm lucky enough to be the wife to my True Love and mother to a little girl and a little boy. I grew up in the Midwest but have loved living in NC, our new home. I'm actually an Industrial Engineer by schooling, but am now a domestic engineer(Stay-at-home-Mom) and feel very blessed to have this job. I have always loved the challenge in making the most of things...whether it's figuring out that a filing cabinet , a $10 piece of countertop and a few scraps of wood can be turned into a desk, that a curtain sheer, some ribbon, and a square piece of fabric can be transformed into an Elsa-like dress, or how to provide an interesting lunch for my little girl who is in a peanut free classroom. I love to figure things out and to create. I hope you enjoy reading my posts. I hope that my posts will inspire you to create. I hope that with my posts you will see that They Will Love Your Effort, whether things turn our perfect or not;-)
