For lunch on 8/29/14 she chose to bring leftover grilled chicken, mini cookie cutter cucumbers, grapes, 1/2 an apple, and pita chips!
She loves packing her lunch now and looks for fun foods to incorporate! Eating healthy isn’t eating healthy…it’s just eating lunch. Isn’t that how we all want to view our eating choices? Not have to think about what’s good and what’s not…but to automatically just make our lunch and enjoy it:-)
I will admit that we have very little items that would not be acceptable for my daughter anyways, which is a big step…ok…a huge step towards healthy eating.
My daughter feels so empowered and as a parent I am so relieved:-). Two years of packing lunches like this and now my daughter does this herself…my effort has paid off<3 Remember...They Will Love Your Effort<3
