Are You There?  Include Yourself:-)

Hi!

See that picture above?  That’s me:-). Yes, no make-up(I actually don’t know how to anyways), fuzzy hat, smiling with my two amazing children!  They are smiling too…just kind of hard to see through their winter masks.

I didn’t think much about this picture when I posted it to my friends, but then I got the comment ‘it’s great how you include yourself in the picture.’

Truth be told, we all have that small voice giving critiques about each picture…what could be changed, what should be changed, imperfect imperfect imperfect.

This is where all that time on Facebook and Pinterest actually bettered me.  Every now and then I’d come across a saying “I wish I looked how I did when I thought I was fat.” Or “Wake Up and Be Awesome!”  I love seeing these little reminders to always be true to yourself and cherish who you are:-)

People are so much more critical of themselves than others actually are…I have found that the best thing you can showcase each day is your true self<3

Here are some of my favorite words that I’ve pulled off my Pinterest account<3

Be Yourself<3. Love Yourself<3. You are awesome!

Today is the present.  Love the present.  It’s a gift that you get to live each day<3

Don’t be self conscious about how you look in your pictures.  You look MARVELOUS <3

Remember…They Will Love Your Effort<3

Hi! My name is Dominique and I'm lucky enough to be the wife to my True Love and mother to a little girl and a little boy. I grew up in the Midwest but have loved living in NC, our new home. I'm actually an Industrial Engineer by schooling, but am now a domestic engineer(Stay-at-home-Mom) and feel very blessed to have this job. I have always loved the challenge in making the most of things...whether it's figuring out that a filing cabinet , a $10 piece of countertop and a few scraps of wood can be turned into a desk, that a curtain sheer, some ribbon, and a square piece of fabric can be transformed into an Elsa-like dress, or how to provide an interesting lunch for my little girl who is in a peanut free classroom. I love to figure things out and to create. I hope you enjoy reading my posts. I hope that my posts will inspire you to create. I hope that with my posts you will see that They Will Love Your Effort, whether things turn our perfect or not;-)
